Planting & Care
1. Planting: It’s important that you plant your Giant Leopard Plant in rich, moist but well-drained soil and in a fully to partially shaded area. Then, simply dig a hole that’s two to three times the width of your Leopard’s root ball, place the plant and back fill its soil. After you’ve completed planting, water to settle its roots.
2. Watering: Water your Giant Leopard Plant regularly and deeply during the first growing season, about once or twice per week, or when the surrounding soil is dry. Check for soil dryness about 2 to 3 inches down – if the soil is dry, it’s time to water your plant. Once it’s established, continue to water it regularly to maintain evenly moist soil.
3. Fertilizing: Apply a well-balanced fertilizer yearly, before new growth during spring.
4. Pruning: Simply remove any spent flowers to promote continued blooming.
