Showy Groundcover Blooms All Season Long
Variegated Vinca has a lot in common with the regular Common Periwinkle.
Both are excellent forms of ground cover, offering support and moisture for flowerbeds as well as adding stability for the surrounding soil.
Both versions are low-growing evergreen vines, rarely topping 12 inches in height but spreading out much wider.
The differences between the two are easy to see when you examine both the foliage and blossoms of the Variegated Vinca.
The Variegated variety also has green foliage, but its leaves are edged with a creamy white color.
This backdrop complements the vine’s flowers beautifully.
This ground cover also has a long blooming season, lasting from early spring into the late fall, allowing for multiple blooming periods.
